Mural on Repeat Stenciled Pattern

As promised here is some more street art from Limerick. Much praise has to be handed to Marv, who braved the ridiculous conditions on his bike to take some of these flicks for irishstreetart.com. Hats off also to Mister Joe for submitting some stencils and promising to send more graffiti from around the city. Marv and Joe are just two of many who will contribute to the blog in the coming year. If you would like to contribute to irishstreetart.com please drop us an email streetart@wecancreate.org

All Out Design Web Ad

The streets of Limerick are probably the most watched in the country. So a certain amount of respect has to be given to anyone who actually manages to throw up a piece anywhere public. Limerick’s two most prolific writers have to be Geko (ae) and Baqs. Below is a collection of graffiti pics I took over Christmas with my fisheye Lomography at the Wicked Chicken at Baker’s Place. Included is the work of Mr. Finbar and the All Out Design collective. Martin Jay (Marv) has promised to send in photos of the non-commissioned pieces taken on his cycle adventures around the city in the next few days so watch this space. Other hot spots to feature in the coming weeks include, Drogheda, Galway, Waterford and Killarney.
